WhatsApp Risk Disclosure

Please read this page before connecting a WhatsApp number to AurexSystems. It explains a real risk to your WhatsApp account that comes from how this product works, so you can decide whether it's acceptable for your use case.

How AurexSystems sends messages

AurexSystems automates WhatsApp Web — the same browser-based interface you'd use at web.whatsapp.com — using an unofficial, open-source automation library (whatsapp-web.js). It is not built on WhatsApp's official Business Platform (the Cloud API that Meta licenses to businesses for automated messaging).

Why that matters

WhatsApp's Terms of Service prohibit sending bulk or automated messages through unofficial clients, and prohibit contacting people who have not consented to receive messages from you. WhatsApp actively detects and restricts accounts that appear to be doing this — regardless of the tool used. If your number is flagged:

• Your number can be temporarily rate-limited or permanently banned from WhatsApp, with no guaranteed appeal process.
• A ban affects your real WhatsApp account — including any personal or business conversations tied to that number, not just campaigns sent through AurexSystems.
• Neither AurexSystems nor WhatsApp/Meta owes you compensation for a banned number, lost conversation history, or business disruption that results from using this product.

How to reduce your risk

• Only message people who have explicitly agreed to hear from you — never purchased, scraped, or cold contact lists.
• Keep intervals between messages conservative (30+ seconds) and avoid sending the same message to a large number of people who don't already have you saved as a contact.
• Consider using a secondary number for campaigns rather than your primary personal or business number.
• If you need guaranteed compliance and no ban risk, use Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) instead — a different product with a per-conversation cost and no automation-detection risk, which AurexSystems does not currently offer.

Your obligations toward recipients

Sending marketing or bulk messages to individuals is independently regulated in most jurisdictions — for example, the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU/UK, the TCPA and CAN-SPAM Act in the US, and similar consent-based marketing laws elsewhere. You are solely responsible for having a valid legal basis and, where required, documented consent before messaging anyone through AurexSystems, and for honoring opt-out requests promptly. AurexSystems does not verify recipient consent on your behalf.

Your acknowledgment

By creating a AurexSystems account, you confirm you understand this risk, that you are solely responsible for how you use AurexSystems to send messages, and that you will only message recipients who have consented to receive them.
